Alpine French School, based in the French mountain resort of Morzine, has introduced distance learning courses for anyone booked with the company and also for anyone who would like to learn French whilst being isolated due to the current COVID-19 virus situation.

The lessons will be conducted over Skype or on the telephone to suit individual’s availability and the cost for the courses will be at a reduced rate.

They are also offering free online resources which will be live in the coming days.

Co-owner of Alpine French School, Helen Watts, said:

We really hope that people can start travelling back to our school here in Morzine soon, but right now that’s not possible so we wanted to ensure our current pupils, and also anyone that might want to learn French whilst quarantined at home, can continue to do so. Hopefully the personal contact will help in this time of isolation too. The courses are already proving to be a great success at this unusual time!

They are also offering credits or date changes for anyone who had booked to on courses in Morzine but cannot now attend.

Prices start at €250 for 10 lessons of 60 minutes each. 30-minute or 60-minute lessons are available.

Individuals might also qualify for training budgets – information available here: Training Budgets.
