Ski touring is the fastest growing segment of the sport, both in the UK and in Europe. This has been a trend for several years now, but Covid forced an acceleration due to resort closures and lack of travel opportunities, creating an opportunity for skiers to access the mountains under their own steam.

Maier Sports has developed specialist clothing that works for ski tourers, winter hikers, snowshoe enthusiasts and cross country skiers. The new collection includes specialised and highly functional products from waterproof weather protection to highly breathable softshell combinations. The precise fit and the exceptional freedom of movement the pants offer, provide particular advantages for all winter activities.

LILAND P3 Winter Jacket

High-tech membrane and technology down to the last detail:
The Liland P3 W, 3-layer jacket (also available for men) delivers the performance required for high-Alpine tours on snow-covered mountain peaks. With underarm ventilation, it’s made with PFC-free environmentally friendly 65% recycled PES yarn.

LILAND P3 Pants

The 3-layer Liland P3 Women’s Pants: made with the same material as the Liland Jacket, are the ideal touring pants for demanding snow adventures. Versatile for use on the slopes or for ski touring. The waistband with neoprene insert adapts flexibly to the body and also keeps the back warm. Also available as a men’s version.

UNAKIT Pants

The breathable ‘Athleisure’ pants for ski touring and other sports activities, to wear underneath on cold weather days. The inside is comfortable on the skin and the stretch fabric guarantees plenty of freedom of movement. Silverplus® technology ensures the trousers stay fresh for a long time, while dryprotec ensures quick drying.

CAURUS Wool Jacket

No matter what the weather is like, the Caurus Wool W insulation jacket with Lavalan® wool padding keeps you comfortably warm in Alpine terrain and on multi-day tours. Elastic materials and robust protection against icy winds ensure a comfortable fit even on ambitious outdoor adventures. The functional all-rounder is also available for men.

ADAKIT Pants

Ideal for winter trekking, on a snow shoe hike or light ski tour. The sporty Adakit W softshell pants, which are equipped with warm fleece on the inside, ensures maximum protection against the elements. Because thanks to Stormprotec, the pants stay waterproof even on cold and wet winter tours. Includes snow guard and a long zip at the bottom of the leg.

EVENES PL Jacket

The Evenes PL M was developed as a hard-wearing, outdoor jacket for physically demanding touring adventures. A combination of top-insulating PrimaLoft® padding and extremely breathable storm fleece. Windprotec protects against cooling wind from the front. The flexible, sporty cut follows every movement of the body.

OFOT HYB Pants

The elastic hybrid trousers Ofot Hyb M with 4-way stretch provide enormous freedom of movement, whilst the interior lining makes the pants soft and warm on the skin. The ventilation on the outside of the leg helps to ensure the ideal body temperature. The integrated snow guard with anti-slip rubber on the leg ends add further robustness.

SKUTVIK P Jacket

The perfect mid-layer jacket for ski touring, snowshoeing and winter trekking. Made with highly elastic, adaptable material, it offers the best climate comfort with its high breathability, even when the going gets strenuous. High attention to detail is seen in the beautifully made chin protection or the small pocket with a fine-seam zip.

NARVIK Jacket

The 2-layer touring and trekking jacket Narvik M offers reliable weather protection and good breathability thanks to mTEX 20,000 material. When things get hot and sweaty, the generously dimensioned forearm ventilation supports temperature regulation. The jacket is made from recycled PES yarn, whereby the Silverplus® mesh lining ensures a fresh feel at all times.

NARVIK Pants

The matching touring and trekking pants for the jacket of the same name also comes with mTEX 20,000 material and is therefore breathable, waterproof and windproof. The 2-way stretch ensures freedom of movement and supports the fit as well as the articulated knees. Sustainable thanks to production from recycled PES yarn and environmentally friendly PFC-free impregnation.

DIABAS Bib

Made for mountain and mountaineering fans: the waterproof Diabas Bib outdoor dungarees – exclusively for men. The mTEX 20,000 membrane ensures reliable weather protection. The snow guard at the bottom of the leg is also a major feature. The bib with elastic inserts is removable and the waistband can be adjusted individually – also comes with belt loops.
