Morzine based language school re-launches a number of summer camps over the summer following two years of cancellations and disruption due to Covid.

There’s three options running through the summer, including:

  • Junior Day Camp
  • Family Camp
  • Junior Residential Camp

Junior Day Camps

Dates from 11th July to 21st August, 2022 – camps run Monday to Friday.

Suitable for children aged 5-17 that wish to learn French and do fun activities at the same time. Juniors take 3 hours of French lessons (with a 30 minute break) from 9am-12pm, which are all fun and educational.

In the afternoons, children will take part in either Adventure Activities (5-11 years old) or Adventure PLUS activities (12-17 years old). The day ends at 5pm.

Prices: Day Camp Adventure Course (5-11yrs) = €550 (3 hours French lessons + afternoon activities) 9am – 5pm. Day Camp Adventure Plus Course (12-17yrs) = €660 (3 hours French lessons + afternoon activities) 9am – 5pm.

Family Camps

Adult courses run at the same time as the Junior Day Camps, meaning parents can learn French too. During the summer, adults can participate in group intensive classes which run from 9am-12pm.

With a maximum of 10 students of all ages in one group there’s lots of time to practise with the other participants, who are all of different nationalities.

Prices: standard intensive course is €300 for 15 hours of lessons. The Super Intensive course, which is 15 hours of group lessons and 5 hours of private lessons costs €580.

Residential Camps

Returning for 2022, Alpine French School is offering its Residential Camps following cancellation in 2021.

The camp is suitable for students aged 11-17 that travel to Morzine on their own and stay in the school’s junior accommodation along with other children on the course. There’s a meet and greet service at the airport to welcome children as they arrive, and all food and 24/7 pastoral care and supervision is provided during their stay.

Just like the Day Camps, juniors will take 3 hours of French lessons and then afternoon activities, and will return back to the accommodation during the evenings and at weekends. There’s also weekend excursions, so that students can see more of the region and enjoy the mountain environment.

Price: €2,360, including full-board accommodation, airport transfers, French lessons and activities, pastoral care.
