- New programmes for three age groups combine fun French lessons with afternoon activities
- A new creative workshop has been introduced for 2023

Alpine French School, based in the mountain resort of Morzine, is launching its new summer day camp for children aged between 6 and 17 that includes an activity programme split into three age groups.
For children ages 6 to 8, afternoon activities include swimming, creative workshops and woodwork. Children aged 9 to 11 have a more adventurous programme that includes mountain biking, climbing, hiking and orienteering as well as the creative workshops and for ages 12 to 17, they can add rafting, SUP and Via Ferrata to their afternoons outdoors.
All afternoon activities run from 1.30pm after lunch and following a morning of fun French lessons in the summer camp facilities at the École Sainte Marie Madeleine in the centre of Morzine.
The Creative Workshops is a new initiative from Stephanie Benod, an actor, teacher and director with 25 years’ experience. The outdoor based workshop improvisations, role playing and interactive games, using French language in a fun way to build confidence.
All lessons are supervised by the summer camp director, Alpine French School teachers and qualified activity leaders.
Family residential summer camps are also available. Children can participate in the summer day camp programme and join afternoon activities if they choose to do so, whilst parents can take morning French lessons at the Alpine French School and participate in afternoon activities as an option. A number of activities are available including mountain biking, road cycling, swimming, horse riding, tennis and paragliding.
Dates: July 10 to August 18, 2023. Summer camps run weekly from Monday to Friday
Prices start at €330 for 15 hours of French lessons only and from €600 a week for a full day of lessons and activities
