With new snow freshening the slopes of Les Gets and colder temperatures forecast, the French resort, part of the Portes du Soleil ski region, is launching a number of activities over the next month and into the Easter holidays.

They include events both on and off the slopes for holidaymakers that want to experience a variety of activities.

The popular Rock the Pistes music festival is scheduled for March 17-23 with events staged across resorts in France and Switzerland, including Les Gets, with electronic music due MARNIX scheduled to play a free concert in the resort. Skiers and snowboarders can purchase a special pass that provides access to the ski area and all the concerts. A two day adult pass for the PdS area costs €122pp.

Other activities and events on offer include; Yoga, avalanche safety training, foraging workshops, pottery for beginners, fitness classes for all levels, cheese factory visits, orienteering sessions and Gets’M Lire, a new literary event on Sunday March 17 hosted by the library.

An Easter egg hunt is also planned at the Alta Lumina forest park on Sunday March 31 and many other events and activities are scheduled to take place until the end of the skiing season on Sunday April 14, 2024.

The new (opened in 2023) 4 season Alpine Coaster is now open everyday from 11am to 7pm.

Marketing Manager of Les Gets, Cyril Tardieu, said:

“We have grown our events and activities programme to offer everyone the chance to enjoy Les Gets on and off the slopes. With snow conditions improving and colder forecast, we believe that Easter, being a bit early this year, is going to be a fantastic time to visit. For anyone looking to take part in non-skiing activities, we have one of the most extensive propositions in the mountains for our guests and adding new things to do all the time is an exciting part of Let Gets vision for the future as we continue to offer a fantastic all year round destination”.
